So if you have been reading my blog you know that I was homeschooling my son through the summer. Well I decided to give him a couple of weeks off until we start up school again. My daughter will be going to our local highschool for 10th grade, my other daughter will be continuing with the online school and my son will be traditionally homeschooled. So school for my other two starts the week of the 19th, so that is when I will start schooling with my son again.
So I have been going through his science book and I decided to add a game and a craft project to his weekly lessons. So the first week we are going to be talking about animals, why animals live in groups and what jobs they do within these groups. So I created this fun animal craft, called where do I belong.
The craft is pretty simple, just print out the animals and the scene and have your child put the animal in the correct scene. You can print the craft out here and I am also included what the final project would look like.
I also created a fun game to go along with the lesson too, you can check it out here. What types of crafts do you do with your animal science lessons? Let me know in the comments.
My name is Robin. I am a homeschooling mom of three and I just love to find ways to make learning fun. I am so excited to share my ideas with you. I try to make my ideas as inexpensive as possible. Most of the items I use are things that are around most houses and if you have a printer and ink you are all set. Please feel free to use these ideas in your own learning adventure with your children.
