I know everyone is getting for ready for Thanksgiving and a lot of you have decided to take a break from lessons and concentrate on the holidays. I am not one for cooking so we are going to a relatives house. So that means I have some time to create some more awesome content for you!
We are working on subjects and verbs and I created this chart to put in your child's notes. This way when he or she is stuck, they can pull it out and reference it to help with their lessons. You can download it here!
I also created three fun subject/verb activities to go with your lesson. You can check it out here. Here is a preview of the board game that is included in the packet.
Do you take breaks for the holiday or just on the day? Let me know in the comments.
I am back at it! We are back to reviewing tr, br and dr in the curriculum, so I decided to make a few games to make it fun and some coloring too!.
You know it is so funny how kids learn. My son will swear up and down that he can't read, but as soon as he gets mad, he is spitting out words like nothing. Another thing I have noticed is that my son learns better by moving around. I am still trying to incorporate reading a book and him moving. Okay, lets get back to those games and the free coloring page.
With Thanksgiving coming around, I decided to create a fun color by blend turkey sheet. You can get it here for free.
If you are interested in the games you can find them here. Here is a preview of the flip and say and the board game. There is a directions page on how to play each game. I am really excited about the blends card game I made, it's like go fish, but with blends! Check it out!
What ways do you mix moving around and reading a book? Please let me know in the comments.
My name is Robin. I am a homeschooling mom of three and I just love to find ways to make learning fun. I am so excited to share my ideas with you. I try to make my ideas as inexpensive as possible. Most of the items I use are things that are around most houses and if you have a printer and ink you are all set. Please feel free to use these ideas in your own learning adventure with your children.
